Hermine Kovacs, M.A.
- Received her M.A. in Human Development from Pacific Oaks College
- Is a licensed marriage and family therapist
- Coordinated the Childrens Day Treatment Center at Thalians Mental Health Center, Cedars-Sinai Hospital, Los Angeles, for 13 years
- Has been in practice for 30 years
- Is a frequent consultant to many private schools in the greater Los Angeles community on children's emotional difficulties and learning needs
- Teaches parenting workshops
- Counsels adults, couples, families, and children
Karen E. Kovacs North, Ph.D.
- Received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Ohio State University
- Completed a post-doctoral residency in neuropsychology at the Ohio State University Medical School and Hospital
- Is a licensed psychologist
- Has been in practice for twelve years
- Served two years as an American Psychological Association/American Association for the Advancement of Science Congressional Science Fellow on the staff of Congressman Edward Markey; advised the Congressman about social science issues and about matters of social policy
- Served two years as a White House Fellow working in the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy as a consultant on aggression, violence, the effects of the media, and bioethics
- In addition to her practice, is currently Assistant Dean, School of Public Policy and Social Research, University of California at Los Angeles
- Teaches courses in psychology and in public policy
- Counsels adults, couples, and adolescents and performs neuropsychological evaluations
